WHO, WHAT & WHERE

 

We are a group of emerging artists putting on an exhibition portraying moments of nostalgia. It goes back in time by telling the story of the artists’ past through a variety of work that ranges from installation art and photography, to textiles and collage. The work represents moments that have been crucial for the artists’ life, personal or not, and it shows the importance and the impact that the past has on different people.

 

The title, Previously…, is drawn from the fact that the word itself is a promise which brings out a sense of anxiety to know something that has already happened. Thus, Previously… becomes the medium that connects the past to the present.

The event will take place at The Rag Factory in Brick Lane on 28 – 29 November 2013.
